Amérian Portal del Iguazú

Hotel looks better on the interior than on the exterior. Outside needs a paint job. The plants needs tending to. It looks like vegetation has grown out of control. Part of the hotel is under renovation. My room had a nice view. Service was prompt, the food was good but not great. Overall, I would stay here again.

Everything is impeccable, clean, and very safe. Very good attention from the staff.Very good location, super magical view of the Three Borders Landmark. Very good breakfast and services.

Some of the staff was very nice and helpful. Mold on fixtures, stained sheets, non-working wifi…generally old, dirty and failing facilities. The pool was a little run down, but still nice. Unfortunately it closes at 7 which kills the evening vibe and you won’t have much time there assuming your days are spent at the falls. Food quality: 0 stars A note on food in Iguazu: plan to dine at La Rueda and Aqua regularly. Both have quality food, good service and reasonable prices. Despite some friendly faces, we were disappointed with Amerian Portal and will not return.

Excellent service, especially the recepcionists and the bar :) Very clean and well located. Also the place is beautiful. Special mention to the girls at the spa! 10 points! The breakfast is very good, although I should say that they should improve the quality of the meals (lunch and dinner), the drinks and cocktails are exceptional.

Spacious rooms, great views & location. Nice free plantable pencil souvenir. Had dinner hotel restaurant food was very flavorful.
